Descripción: Se informa de que está abierta la convocatoria de 10 becas para la Realización de Estudios de Máster en Estados Unidos, en Áreas de Ciencias Sociales o Humanidades: Curso 2011-2012 - VII Convocatoria (En colaboración entre la Secretaría General de Universidades (ME) y el Programa Fulbright). Estas becas son dirigidas a licenciados españoles en titulaciones de Ciencias Sociales o Humanidades que deseen realizar programas de Máster en universidades de Estados Unidos de América.

Descripción: The LH Martin Institute welcomes applications for the GCQA (Graduate Certificate in Quality Assurance) 2011 Program from 1 August 2010. The GCQA is a one year part-time, on-line, professionally oriented graduate program. This will be the program’s second year intake, following excellent student feedback from the first cohort.
Humboldt-Georg Forster Research Fellowships / Humboldt Research Awards
Descripción: Every year, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation enables more than 2,000 researchers from all over the world to spend time researching in Germany. A Georg Forster Research Fellowship for experienced researchers allows you to carry out a long-term research project (6−18 months) you have selected yourself in cooperation with an academic host you have selected yourself at a research institution in Germany. The fellowship is flexible and can be divided up into as many as three stays within three years. The Humboldt Research Award is granted in recognition of a researcher's entire achievements to date to academics whose fundamental discoveries, new theories, or insights have had a significant impact on their own discipline and who are expected to continue producing cutting-edge achievements in the future.

Pre Master's Programme for students offered by the Twin International Study Centre, London
Descripción: The Twin International Study Centre in London specifically focuses on Academic Programmes for overseas students. To support international students and to make it easier for them to gain access to postgraduate study at British universities, and to offer them the best preparation to pass their studies successfully, they have developed a Pre Master’s Programme. This is offered on the campus of the Leeds Trinity University College and gives international students the possibility to prepare themselves for a British Masters Degree.

Programa 3.2 y 8 del Plan Propio de Internacionalización 2010
Descripción: Se recuerda que el Vicerrectorado de Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad de Granada está convocando ayudas de apoyo a nuevas iniciativas de internacionalización, de acuerdo con el Plan Propio de Internacionalización 2010, aprobado por el Consejo de Gobierno el 2 de marzo de 2010. El Programa 3.2 del Plan Propio de Internacionalización 2010 tiene como objetivo de consolidar y aumentar la movilidad internacional de profesorado de la UGR y apoyar y fomentar la movilidad extracomunitaria no cubierta por el programa Erasmus. El programa 8 del Plan Propio de Internacionalización 2010 contempla medidas de apoyo a nuevas iniciativas de internacionalización que no tengan posibilidad de financiación externa y que involucren y beneficien de manera directa o indirecta al mayor número posible de miembros de la comunidad universitaria.
Convocatoria Asociaciones Erasmus Mundus (Acción 2) Lote 4: “Josyleen” - Jordania, Siria y Líbano
Descripción: Este proyecto europeo proporcionará becas de movilidad para el intercambio de estudiantes y profesores entre 11 universidades europeas y 9 centros de educación superior de Jordania, Siria y Líbano. Además, contempla la movilidad hacia Europa para nacionales de estos países que hayan obtenido un título universitario en su país de origen.

Descripción: El Vicerrectorado de Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad de Granada celebra cada año unas Jornadas de Recepción para los estudiantes internacionales, cuyo objetivo es de darles la bienvenida a los estudiantes internacionales y remitirles información esencial sobre el registro en la Oficina de Relaciones Internacionales, el carné de estudiante internacional, la matrícula en las asignaturas, los servicios de la UGR y actividades lúdicas que tenemos planeado para esta semana de orientación.

Erasmus Mundus Project WISHES | Invitation to European Live Chat
Descripción: Shortly before the beginning of the new semester, this year the WISHES-Team came up with a new idea of how to make the life of all international students more easy - and more colorful. Therefore, they will organize a European Live Chat on September, 15th, bringing together new international students and active local students - already before their first personal meeting on campus.

ESNSurvey 2010 (Erasmus Student Network): “E-Value-ate Your Exchange”
Descripción: We would like to inform you that Erasmus Student Network has launched a new edition of its annual ESNSurvey - ESNSurvey 2010: E-Value-ate Your Exchange. ESNSurvey is one of the biggest student surveys, with average annual response rate of 8.000 entries.
This year the main goal of the survey is to explore what are the benefits of having done an academic exchange. Additionally, ESN would like to learn about economical situation of exchange students while studying abroad as well as their opinion about quality of studies at home and host university.
The ESNSurvey 2010 will be online from August till the end of September 2010. ESNSurvey is available in English.
