Erasmus students

An LLP/Erasmus student is a student who comes to the UGR to study with us during one semester or a whole academic year within a bilateral agreement between the faculty / school of his/her home university and the faculty / school of the University of Granada.

These kind of bilateral agreements are signed with universities in EU member states and affiliated countries.

Deadline for the online application for Erasmus students: from 1st May to 15th June (to study in the first semester or the full academic year) / from 1st to 31st October (to study in the second semester).

Exchange students (NON ERASMUS)

An exchange student is someone who comes to the UGR for a semester or full academic year via a specific student exchange agreement signed between the UGR and the student’s home university. These bilateral agreements are established with universities in non-EU countries (among EU member states, exchanges are usually within the framework of the LLP/Erasmus Programme). In order to be accepted as an exchange student, you will need to be nominated to take part in the exchange programme by the International Relations Co-ordinator at your home university.

Online application for bilateral exchange students: from 1st March to 28th April (first semester or full academic year) / from 1st to 31st October (second semester).

Free Mobility students (NON ERASMUS)

A Free Mobility Student is a student who wants to enrol at the UGR for an academic semester or year outside a specific student exchange agreement between the UGR and the student’s home University. It implies the payment of enrolment fees at the UGR.

To be a Free Mobility Student you must already be enroled at a foreign university.
