From 3rd to 10th July 2016, the Faculty of Arts at the University of Maribor will hold its 9th International Summer School. The title of this year’s summer school is ASPECTS OF MIGRATION: HISTORICAL AND CURRENT. The lectures and workshops will focus on the current migration crisis, highlighting it from different perspectives, as well as provide an insight into the phenomenon of migration from aspects such as historical, geographical, cultural, literary, philosophical...
The summer school is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students of History, Geography, Sociology, Languages, Political Science, Philosohpy, Psychology, as well as to other students interested in the topic.

Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi is organizing the 45th edition of the Summer Courses “Romania - Language and Civilization” between 30 June-21 July 2016.
We are very happy to announce that the Senate Board has decided to award five grants for students from partner universities in the Coimbra Group and the Utrecht Network.
A grant includes accommodation in shared rooms, full board, course materials, cultural programme and assistance throughout the programme. The students should only take care of the international transportation to and from Iasi , optional trip and their personal expenses.
Candidates who apply for a scholarship are supposed to: Fill in the application form with passport size photograph (see document, Then print it out, sign and submit it to the international office at the home university. They have to include the following documents in their application:

Graz International Summer School Seggau 2016 – Transformation, Transgressions, and Trust in Europe and the Americas.
Focusing on the emphasis areas of the University of Graz – South Eastern Europe and North, Central and South America – this year’s summer school will take place from July 3rd to July 17th, 2016 at Seggau Castle in Styria, in the wine region close to the Slovene border.

The UNIL's School of Biology launches a call for applications to the 2016 Summer Undergraduate Research (SUR) Programme in the biological sciences.
This English-taught 8-week programme (July 4th to August 26th, 2016) aims at introducing Bachelor-level students to the world of biological and biomedical research: Individual students will be each integrated in a different experimental research laboratory of the School of Biology. This 7th edition of the SUR Programme will host around 20 participants from all over the world, including a couple of local students.
A full scholarship toward tuition costs, living expenses and justified travel costs will be awarded to all selected participants. Application deadline: January 31st, 2016.
The Bayreuth International Summer School 2016 consists of different courses held simultaneously in areas such as Law, Economics, Engineering and Management. The Summer Seminar on Nationalism, Religion and Violence in Europe (2016), which is organized by the Charles University in Prague and International Hellenic University in Thessaloniki and supported by the LSEE, PRIO and CEFRES, is ready to launch its fourth year.
