The Department of Didactics and School Organization at the UGR is participating in the ERASMUS+ project “Artificial Intelligence Assistant and Digital Self-Assessment for Teachers' Continuing Professional Development (AIDA4teachers)”. The initiative is designed to enhance lifelong learning for teachers by providing them with AI-driven self-assessment tools and personalised training recommendations.
The project began in December 2024 and will end in November this year. It focuses on designing and developing a digital self-assessment model for teachers, accompanied by an AI assistant and digital training resources. These tools will facilitate the identification of training needs and promote the continuous professional development of teachers in diverse European education contexts.
The AIDA4teachers project involves transnational meetings, applied research activities and the development of recommendations for educational institutions and policymakers. It aims to promote the ethical, effective and pedagogical integration of AI in education systems.
The UGR team comprises Emilio Crisol Moya, Vanesa Gámiz Sánchez and Lara Checa Domene. Their tasks include defining the criteria and standards for the self-assessment of teachers, developing training content aligned with the professional and digital skills of teachers, and creating a pedagogical framework based on research and university expertise in initial and continuing teacher training.
AIDA4teachers is one of 19 cooperation partnerships funded under Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ Programme in which the UGR is currently participating.
