According to the UGR International Mobility Regulations, Incoming students are obliged to have health and travel insurance for the duration of their study period (art. 29).
Following recommendations made by the Ombudsman of Andalusia and the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE), the University of Granada requires that all students on international mobility programmes (Erasmus, UGR International Mobility Programme, etc) provide proof that they have purchased travel insurance. You must also provide proof that you have health insurance (for mobility periods within the EU and associated non-EU countries please check the health cover provided by the European Health Insurance Card). Note 2: This condition shall be applied to insurance taken out on behalf of students of the following degree programmes: Grado (Bachelor's Degree) in Sport and Exercise Sciences, Grado (Bachelor's Degree) in Primary School Education + Grado (Bachelor's Degree) in Sport and Exercise Sciences (Melilla), Grado (Bachelor's Degree) in Sport and Exercise Sciences (Melilla).
Students on degrees at the Faculty of Education who will take the corresponding courses of the specialisation in Physical Education during their mobility period must communicate the inclusion of courses related to sports practice in their learning agreement through the e-Administration procedure “Entrega de documentación firmada” before 10 September, so that the insurance conditions and premium can be adapted to this situation.
