Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi is organizing the 41st Edition of the Summer Courses “Romania - Language and Civilization” between 9 -30 July 2012.

We are very happy to announce that the Senate Board has decided to award five grants for students from partner universities in the Coimbra Group and Utrecht Network.

A grant includes:

• Accommodation in shared rooms.
• Full board.
• Course materials.
• Cultural programme.
• Excursion and assistance throughout the programme.
• The students should only take care of the international transportation to and from Iasi and their personal expenses.

Candidates who apply for a scholarship are supposed to: Fill in the application form with passport size photograph (see document http://www.uaic.ro/uaic/bin/download/Cooperation/RomanianLanguageCourses/applicationscholarshipforstudentsfrompartneruniversities.pdf), then print it out, sign and submit it to the international office at the home university.

You have to include the following documents in the application:

• Curriculum Vitae.
• Motivation letter (in English).
• A letter of recommendation (written and signed by university teaching staff).
• Copies of certificates/diplomas or at least an academic transcript (in English).
• Copy of relevant pages from passport (page with data and picture).

Students have to turn in their application form to the International Relations Office of their university by 11 May 2012.
