International Staff Week at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), Lithuania (3-7 of March 2014 )

  • The main topic of the event will be the New Perspectives in Mobility Programmes with Eastern Partnership Countries under New Erasmus+ Framework. In second half of 2013 Lithuania presided at Council of the European Union for major Eastern Partnership related activities and treaties, also KTU in partnership with European Commission DG Education and Culture organised Erasmus+ Information Days for Eastern Partnership countries, thus we do have knowledge, skills and experience to share. Relevant experts from target institutions are planned to be invited as guest speakers, moderators and facilitators for workshops. Of course, we are looking forward to your input, your experience in this matter as well.
  • In addition, one of the days will be dedicated for you to make presentation about your respective institutions at the Study Abroad Info Day, which will include discussion with students and staff in classrooms and at the locally organised International Fair. Therefore, we encourage you to bring information materials as well as some traditional food alongside; feel free to ship all this by post in advance.
  • Even though the topic of the week/workshops is aimed at staff working in international relations and particularly with mobility/ internationalisation at home issues, we are happy to welcome staff from faculty or other support units who are interested in learning more about KTU experience with eastern partners, including within degree programmes. In addition, we will facilitate to arrange individual (B2B) meetings with relevant coordinators/ contact persons from faculties/ support units to enable people from various fields to take place.
  • As we would like to ensure that there is a geographical mix as well as a mix of levels of experience, we can accept a maximum number of 2 applications per partner institution.
  • Application Deadline: 17 January 2014.
  • Costs: there is no participation fee. Participants are expected to cover their own travel and living expenses through the Erasmus funds for staff mobility or otherwise.
