Mobility opportunities for international administrative staff

two women in a working enviromentWith a view to exchanging experiences and good practices, and thanks to our participation in the Erasmus+ Programme, we offer international administrative and service staff the opportunity to visit our University. These visits are a great way to share ideas, explore different management styles, and subsequently implement new initiatives at your home institution.

If you wish to undertake an individual visit at a UGR service, we encourage you to contact this service directly in order to check their availability, agree on the dates of your stay, and establish a work schedule.

You can use the UGR Directory to search for the contact details of services and staff:

We do not currently accept individual visits at the International Relations Office due to the large number of requests we receive annually. Instead, we encourage anyone interested in visiting our university to attend one of our Staff Training Weeks, which are detailed below.

These weeks span over 5 days and include workshops, talks, and other educational and cultural activities specifically aimed at our international partners.

  • If you wish to visit a Service at the University of Granada other than the International Relations Office, you must contact that particular service directly. Through this link, you will find a brief description of the Services of the UGR along with their respective contact details.

  • The University of Granada Services are responsible for the acceptance of their visitors. Please be patient, as the workload is sometimes so high that it is very difficult to reply to all the petitions.

    • For individual visits: once you arrange the programme of your stay with the Service of your interest, you will be able to either send your Erasmus+ Mobility Agreement for Training Purposes to be signed and returned by the contact person or you can ask for an invitation letter clearly indicating dates of your stay.
    • For participation in the International Staff Training Weeks: organised by the International Relations Office, you may request a pre-acceptation letter or invitation via our e-mail address @email
  • Due to the great amount of applications that are usually received, the University of Granada carries out a selection of participants for each of its events.

Once the participants have been selected, we will email each applicant informing them of the results. Those that have been selected will then be able to send us their Erasmus+ Mobility Agreements, which will be returned signed and sealed by the Director of the International Relations Office of the UGR.

    • For individual visits: the documents certifying your stay at the UGR will be signed by the Head of Service of the unit that will host you. Upon arrival, please submit the documents you need to have signed to your contact person. We will return the documents, duly signed, at the end of your stay.
    • For participation in the International Staff Training Weeks:  as indicated in the programme of our events, on the last day we will give out the attendance certificates and return any documents (provided by your Universities of origin) that you submitted for signing upon arrival.
  • The International Relations Office of the UGR does not act as an intermediary in the booking of transportation or accommodation, or the purchasing of tickets to attend shows or visit monuments of interest in the city of Granada. Thus, we recommend you read our Visitor’s guidelines, which include some useful information that will help you prepare your stay.
