In view of the warnings issued by the Spanish Meteorological Agency, the University of Granada's Governing Team has implemented a series of preventive measures, as a result of which, the start of the second semester at the UGR has been rescheduled for 18 February.
The kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ CBHE project MED.HELA (Mediterranean Higher Education Leadership Academy) took place in Tlemcen, Algeria, on 20–21 January 2026. The event was hosted by the project coordinator, the University of Tlemcen, and was attended by representatives from the Algerian and Tunisian Ministries of Higher Education, as well as the Director of the Erasmus+ Office in Algeria.

The Study in Spain Fair, organised by the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE), is currently taking place from 19 to 22 January in Morocco. The event is supported by the Department of Education of the Spanish Embassy in Morocco.
